Support
Where to get help with NitroStack, and how to ask so you get an answer quickly.
Most questions already have an answer in these docs. When they don't, pick the route below that matches what you need: a known fix, a conversation, a bug report, or help with your NitroCloud account.
Start with a known fix
Troubleshooting collects the problems people hit most, grouped by symptom: installing the CLI, running the server, connecting clients, widgets, Docker, and file uploads. Each fix links to the page that explains it in full.
If the problem appeared after an upgrade, or you're on an older release, check the Changelog. It lists every release of the TypeScript SDK, the CLI, and the Python SDK, and shows how to upgrade.
Ask the community
The NitroStack Discord is where developers ask questions, share what they've built, and discuss ideas with each other and with the team. It's the right place when you're not sure whether something is a bug, or you want advice on how to structure a server.
You'll get a faster answer if your first message says which SDK and version you use, what you're trying to do, and what happened instead.
Report a bug
If you can reproduce a problem in the SDK or the CLI, open an issue in the repository for the language you use. Search the open issues first, since someone may already have reported it.
| You use | Open an issue at |
|---|---|
TypeScript SDK or CLI (@nitrostack/core, @nitrostack/cli) | github.com/nitrocloudofficial/nitrostack |
Python SDK and CLI (nitrostack, nitrostack-py) | github.com/nitrocloudofficial/nitrostack-python-sdk |
What to put in the issue
A maintainer needs to see the problem happen before they can fix it. Copy this outline into the issue and fill it in:
**Versions**
@nitrostack/core or nitrostack: x.y.z
CLI: x.y.z (output of `nitrostack-cli --version`, or `pip show nitrostack`)
Node.js or Python: x.y.z
OS:
**What I ran**
The command, request, or tool call that failed.
**What I expected**
**What happened**
The exact error message and stack trace, as text rather than a screenshot.
**Smallest project that shows it**
A link to a repository, or the shortest code that reproduces it.Remove API keys, tokens, and connection strings from logs before you paste them.
NitroCloud account and billing
For anything about your NitroCloud organization, such as an app that won't deploy, a domain, your plan, or an invoice, use Support in the top bar of the NitroCloud dashboard. It reaches the NitroStack team directly, and they can see your organization's setup.
Two Cloud requests have their own flow and don't need a support message:
- More apps. When your organization reaches its app limit, Create App opens Request more Apps. See Request more apps.
- Requests from your team. Access and usage requests from members appear under Requests, where you approve or reject them. See Team requests.
